Cascade Locks to John B. Yeon Trailhead
The Bonneville section of the Historic Columbia River Highway (HCRH) State Trail connects Cascade Locks with the Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery and the west end of the Gorge National Scenic Area. The bike path ends at John B. Yeon Trailhead, but riders can continue on Highway 30 to reach Multnomah Falls and other iconic waterfalls along the Historic Highway.
Note: This route requires riders to transport their bikes up and down the Eagle Creek Staircase. There are tire grooves on the sides of the staircase that work well for most bikes, but getting heavy e-bikes up and down the stairs may require two people.
