Cascade Locks Community Ride

Join us to celebrate the season with a community bike ride and see how we’re using our new Bike Lane Sweeper to help keep the Historic Highway State Trail rideable year-round. Enjoy a free rental on one of our e-bikes, or join the ride with your own bike.
Event Itinerary
Welcome and Check-In
12:30 - 12:50pm
Arrive at our shop to check in and get fitted with a bike or e-bike (ages 16+) for the ride. All rentals are free!
Departure
1:00pm
We’ll hit the road at 1:00pm, riding through town and following the Historic Highway State Trail to Eagle Creek and back.
Return and Post-Ride Social
2:00 - 2:30pm
Enjoy light refreshments at our shop, test ride any of our e-bikes and connect with the team behind Bike the Gorge.

Will the ride still happen if it's raining?
Yes! We’ll ride rain or shine, but keep your fingers crossed for some decent weather.
How long is the ride?
It’s about a 10-mile roundtrip ride from our shop to Eagle Creek and back. We’ll have staff members at the front and the back of the group, so everyone is welcome to ride their own pace.
Where does the ride begin and end?
Our retail shop and showroom at 180 Herman Creek Ln, Suite 102.
What should I bring to the ride?
Warm layers and gloves. If you registered for a free rental of one of our bikes or e-bike, we’ll provide you with a helmet—but you’re also welcome to bring one of your own.
Is there a participation fee?
No, participation and rentals are free thanks to our Economic Development Grant from the Port of Cascade Locks.
